Shaping Bright Futures Through Impactful Events

The David Wagga Hunt Scholarship Foundation is dedicated to empowering young minds through education and fostering community spirit. With a focus on giving back, the foundation supports students from Kingston College and Calabar High School by awarding scholarships to help them achieve their academic goals. It also assists Howard University’s Jamaican students by partnering with the Jamaica Howard University Affinity Network (JHUAN) to host events such as an Easter Brunch and Welcome Treat. To sustain its efforts, the foundation hosts an annual fundraising gala, bringing together supporters to raise funds for these scholarships. The initiative culminates in a Scholarship Awards Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of the recipients. Additionally, the foundation organizes the much-anticipated annual Football Classic, a spirited event that unites alumni and supporters in the spirit of camaraderie and giving. Through these events, the foundation continues to make a profound difference in the lives of students and the communities it serves.
